This park is made up of approximately 132 acres of Florida wildlife, offering an enjoyable view. If it isn’t the land that sparks your interest, it will be the ponds. There are two ponds that fall within the boundaries of the park. The northern pond offers fishing, and some have said that the fishing is what sets Al Lopez Park aside from other parks.
Davis Islands Seaplane Basin

Located at the end of Davis Islands, this park offers a small beach area, off-leash area for dogs, picnic area, canoe launch and boat ramps. Davis Islands Park also is adjacent to the Davis Island Yacht Club and Davis Island Seaplane Basin.
Gadsden Dog Park

As one of Tampa’s major parks, Gadsden Park offers many amenities and opportunities to every member of the family. Gadsden Park contains one of Tampa’s Greenway Trails: MacDill Trail. It’s a 1.47-mile asphalt trail consisting of two loops; the Lake Gadsden loop, which is 0.88 miles, and the play area loop, which is 0.59 miles. Gadsden Park amenities include picnic tables and shelters, restrooms, ball fields, dog park, playground and fishing lake.

Picnic Island Park, located in Port Tampa, has a breathtaking view of the city. It encompasses 7.8 acres of sandy beach access. Enjoy a day in the sun and on the beach, go canoeing, picnicing, fishing from the pier or escape and explore Picnic Island Bayou. There is something for everyone at Picnic Island Beach.

Sunrise to Sunset, fenced dog park. Rowlett Park offers amenities for every member of the family: street hockey, tennis courts, trails, picnic tables, pier, fitness stations, and more.
Nestled along a bend in the Hillsborough River, the Rowlett Park Trail provides two miles of asphalt trail, meandering through oak and pine hammocks. Nature trails cross the park. The canoe launch is available for access to the Hillsborough River State Canoe Trail, which extends north to the Hillsborough River State Park.
