My wife Jackie and I had a trip planned to the Denver area at the end of May so our dog, Towser, could compete in the Skyhoundz World Qualifier disc dog competition. Since the competition would only require us to be in Denver for a couple of days, we thought we’d take a little extra time in the Centennial State to … what else … spend some time in the mountains. We ultimately decided on FloAnn’s Cottages in Drake, Colorado.
