Dogs are wonderful communicators with each other and with practice you can learn to read a great deal about a dog’s intent, mood and message. This is especially important in a group play situation such as an off leash dog park.

Dump the Dog Towel

But what constitutes a dog towel at your house? I suspect most people do exactly the same thing we’ve always done… we repurpose our old, frayed, unwanted, doesn’t-go-with-the-new-colors towels into towels suitable to use on the dog. And they work pretty well, right? But what if there were something else… something that uses technology to dry off your dog better?

Summertime, and the livin’ is easy… if you have a well socialized dog

Summertime, and the livin’ is easy… if you have a well socialized dog

Strolls in the park, charity walks, parades, pet events, dog shows, dog washes, dog camps… When summer finally arrives, the opportunity for public interaction with dogs grows by leaps and bounds. Dog owners sign up for walks to raise money for various charities, break out the retractable leashes for strolls in the park, and scan the pages of Paw Prints’ “Stuff to do, Places to go” section for events where Fido will be welcome.

These warm weather occasions provide an extra, positive dimension to dog ownership if Fido is healthy, well-socialized, and under control. They can end in disaster if the pooch isn’t well-prepared for the experience.
